📖 Full Description:
Day 1 – Cairo
Depart late at night from Dahab by a comfortable, air-conditioned tourist bus. Upon arrival in Cairo, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to priceless artifacts including the golden mask of Tutankhamun.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. An optional Nile felucca cruise is available.
Continue to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, followed by the Great Sphinx. Visit a papyrus institute and perfume oil factory.
Check in to a 3★ hotel in Cairo (dinner and breakfast included). Evening at leisure.
Day 2 – Alexandria
After breakfast, depart around 09:00 for Alexandria (approx. 230 km / 2.5 hours). Visit the impressive Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
See the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (external visit), the Montaza Palace & Gardens (external visit), and the Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque.
Enjoy a seaside walk along the Mediterranean Corniche with photo stops. Lunch at a local restaurant, then return to Dahab late in the evening.
