Your trip begins early in the morning between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, when your English-speaking Egyptologist guide from Kiwi Travel meets you at your Cairo hotel. Travel comfortably by air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria, located about 250 km (3 hours) away. A short rest stop will be made en route for coffee or snacks ☕🚻.

Start your tour with a visit to the Roman Amphitheater in the Kom El-Dikka district, then descend into the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in Egypt and among the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

Next, explore the remains of ancient Roman tricliniums and relics, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich past. Continue to the New Library of Alexandria, a magnificent modern symbol of learning built near the site of the ancient library. (Exterior visit only.)
